Imperial eagle siblings met again after months being separated
In summer 2018 two chicks of the Imperial eagle got backpacks equiped with hi-tech GPS-GSM loggers to track their activity and detect potential dangers. We watched their journey as one siblings stayed exclusively in the Central Europe, the other went straight to the south on the Greek island of Crete. Now they are both again in the Central Europe.
At the beginning od May the eagle from Crete began its journey back. At the end of the month, both siblings met again after many months. Now (data from 3rd June) we see that their paths have been split again. The eagle from Crete is now near Czech-Slovakia-Austrian borders, whereas the other one near Beskid Mountains.
